When there is not enough free space on the regular filesystem, you can do the export and impor to ASM diskgroup.
First, you need to create directory on the ASM diskgroup for the export and another on the regular filesystem for the logfile.
ASM:
[grid@crd-ams-pro-dwh1 ~]$ asmcmd ASMCMD> ls DATA/ RECO/ ASMCMD> cd DATA ASMCMD> mkdir EXPORT ASMCMD> cd EXPORT ASMCMD> pwd +DATA/EXPORT
FS:
cd /u01/app/oracle mkdir explog cd explog/ # pwd /u01/app/oracle/explog
Next, we need to create both directories in database:
create directory tempex as '+DATA/EXPORT'; grant read, write on directory tempex to system; create directory templog as '/u01/app/oracle/explog'; grant read, write on directory templog to system;
Now, we can run the export:
# expdp system@instancename dumpfile=exp_prod.dmp directory=tempex logfile=templog:exp_prod.log schemas=XXXX_XXXX flashback_scn=350313952566
